As per Regulations entries with no accompanying deposit slip and Entrance form shall be regarded as a late entry.

Please note day licenses are no longer issued by MSA. For this event Masters and Experts and Intermediates must enter on a MSA National event license. Clubman can enter on a MSA Club License.

Please remember to bring along your license as you will not be permitted to compete without producing your licence.

If you are paying using one EFT for multiple people, then paste the EFT transaction in to the eft block for each person.


Assumption of Risk, Waiver of Liability, Conditions of Participation, and Hold Harmless Agreement

NOTICE: This Release form is a contract with legal consequences. Read it carefully before sumbitting this form, submission is classed as a legal digital transaction.

In consideration of the acceptance of my application for participation, I hereby freely agree to and make the following contractual representations and agreements.

I understand and agree that my participation in club events, programs, races, or activities organized, operated, conducted and/or sanctioned by the organising club and Members registered with the organising club is conditional upon my execution of this document.

1. I am aware that trials riding, and in particular competition trials riding, involves the possibility of injury or death.

2. I fully realize the dangers of participating in trials events, and I fully assume all the risks associated with such participation. I understand these risks include, by way of example and not limitation, the following: the dangers of collision with pedestrians, spectators, vehicles, other riders, and fixed or moving objects; the dangers arising from surface hazards, equipment failure, inadequate safety equipment and weather conditions; property damage or loss; the dangers of travel to and from trials events; and the possibility of serious physical and/or mental trauma or injury associated with trials participation.

3. I accept these risks, and all others arising from these events and programs, even if arising from the negligence, gross negligence or negligent rescue by those associated in any way with the events and programs I may be involved in, the venues at which these events and programs takes place or by those organizing, officiating, or participating in these events and programs throughout the year, including their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, servants, volunteers and representatives (the 'Releasees).

4. I understand that all applicable rules for participation must be followed and that SOLE RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY PERSONAL SAFETY REMAINS WITH ME, including my physical and emotional preparation and fitness to participate in all events and programs throughout the year.

5. I undertake and agree to remove myself from participation if I sense or observe any unusual hazard or unsafe condition, or I at anytime, at any event or program feel unable or unfit to safety continue for any reason.

6. I give, a FULL RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND ALL CLAIMS that I have, or may have in the future, against the organising club, and all other Releasees from all liability for any loss damage, injury or expense that I may suffer as a result of my participation in any part or parts of the events or programs or my presence at any venue at which they may take place, due to any cause whatsoever including the forms of negligence set forth in paragraph 3 above or from any breach of contract or statutory duty or other duty of care including any duty of care owed under the relevant Occupier's Liability Act, on the part of the Releasees.

7. I AGREE NOT TO SUE and I further agree TO INDEMNIFY AND SAVE HARMLESS the Releasees from all expenses, fees, liability or damage award or cost of any type whatsoever arising from my participation in these events or programs.


PARENTAL CONSENT FOR MINOR PARTICIPANT and INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

I have read and understood the above waiver, release and indemnity, and have discussed the same with the minor person completing the above. I am satisfied the said minor understands the waiver and release and his/her obligations as set out. In consideration of the participation of my minor child/ward I too agree to waive, release and indemnify the Releasees in the terms set out above.

I am aware that by checking the below checkbox and submiting this agreement I am waiving substantial legal rights, which my minor child/ward and I, our respective heirs, executors, administrators and next of kin may have against the Releasees.

TITLE: Observed Trials National Championship Round 5 and 6

1.JURISDICTION: Held under the International Sporting Code of the FIM, the General Competition Rules and Standing Supplementary 
Regulations of MSA, these Supplementary Regulations 
2.ELEGIBILITY: Competitors must produce a valid MSA National Trials License. Refer to article 2 of the Observed Trials Regulations 
in the 2011 MSA Handbook.
3.START: 10h00 at Scrutineering paddock. Riders' briefing 09:45. Final Instructions, Starting instructions and time allowance
 to be announced during riders briefing on the day of the event. All competitors are urged to attend the riders briefing at the
 stipulated time. Every competitor must sign on before 09h45
4.FINISH: The time allowance shall be given at riders briefing. A maximum of 30 minutes penalty time will be allowed resulting
 in 1 penalty point per minute of penalty time. Every competitor must sign off, failure to sign off will result in elimination
 from the final results
5.COURSE:  12 sections with the appropriate number of laps ridden to total not less than 60 sections ridden. The Clerk of the
 Course retains the right in agreement with the Organising Committee and the Stewards to alter the number of sections and laps
 and the time allowance on the day. They also have the right to alter sections deemed dangerous. Any rider interfering with the
 course or moving any object inside the section without the Observers or Clerk of the Course’s permission will be penalize 5
 points
6.ELEGIBILITY OF MOTORCYCLE: Refer article 5 of the Observed Trials Regulations in the 2010 MSA Handbook.
7.REGISTRATION: Registration from 08h00 to 9h30 at the venue.
8.SCRUTINEERING: 09:00 to 09:30 in the impound paddock. All competitors to place their motorcycles in the impound paddock before
 09h30, where they will be scrutineered and to remain until the start of the event. Any motorcycle not scrutineered will
 automatically be disqualified from the event, (GCR 253). Helmet and boots are to be presented if required by the scrutineer. 
9.NUMBER-PLATES: a) Black number 100mm high on white background, affixed to the front of the motorcycle.
10.CLASSES: All placed riders qualify for National points in the Masters, Expert, Intermediate and Clubman Classes. All riders
 who comply with the regulations will qualify for points, an MSA club license is only valid for entry level riders riding in the
 clubman class. All other riders must have the appropriate National MSA license or an International license. Concession has been
 made by MSA to enduro riders who may compete using their MSA enduro licenses as long as they are paid up members of one of the
 trials clubs. A rider riding with an enduro license will be scored on the day but their results will not be included in the
 National, Regional or Club final results  
11.RESULTS: Results shall be announced as soon as possible after the event and shall remain provisional for a period of one hour
 after which they will be declared as final. (refer art 16 of the 2010 MSA Handbook)
12.AWARDS/PRIZEGIVING: Finisher awards will be presented at the event. Dinners cost for competitors included in the entry fee.
 For non riders the meal cost is R100 per person
13.COMPETITION NUMBERS: Information regarding yearly allocated numbers can be obtained from the representative of  the respective
 regional clubs, also available on the following website  www.trials.co.za

14.PROTECTIVE CLOTHING: Refer article 6 of the Observed Trials Regulations in the 2011 MSA Handbook.

NOTE:		a) Bicycle helmets will not be approved.
		b) Gumboots are not approved.
		c) A sleeved shirt must be worn during the event.
15.OBSERVED SECTIONS, BOUNDARIES AND MARKERS, PENALTY MARKS, EXCLUSIONS, BAULKS AND POINTS SCORING, ROLLING BACK: As stipulated
 in the 2011 MSA Handbook. Rolling back without footing will be allowed. A motorcycle is deemed to be out of the section if it
 is more than one bike length out of the gates or his splitter to the next boundary flag. Masters ride between RED and BLUE,
 Experts use YELLOW splitter, Intermediate use WHITE splitter and CLUBMEN use GREEN splitter.
16.NUMBER OF CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS: All events to count for Championships. 
17. MEETING POSTPONED OR CANCELLED: Refer GCR 244. The Clerk of the Course reserves the right to postpone / cancel the race
 meeting due to inclement weather, or Force Majeur, as per MSA Handbook 2011.
18.PROTESTS: Protests are to be lodged as per MSA Handbook 2011.
19.ENVIRONMENTAL CODE
Riders are asked to be conscious of the environment and to this end we have decided that:
All riders are refuel their motorcycles only in the demarcated refueling area
Shade will be provided for fuel containers as well as ground cover to soak any spillage of fuel
If riders need to work on their motorcycles, they may do so in their own designated area’s
20.ENTRIES: Open immediately and close on the day of the event: 
The entry fee for all classes will be:
EARLY BIRD ENTRY FEE: R350.00 per day for adults and R200.00 for scholars up to and including the 28/4/2011

LATE ENTRY FEE: R400.00 per day for adults and R250.00 for scholars

Entries should be done online via the Trials website - www.trials.co.za. Entries with no accompanying proof of deposit  shall
 be regarded as a late entry.
