Scrutineering - All competition bikes will be inspected before the
trial begins. The list below will help you to decide whether or not your bike
will pass scrutineering.
Rule Requirements
Both brake & clutch lever ball ends must be intact. (If they have
snapped off you must replace them, and return your bike to the scrutineering
area for re-inspection. If this can not be done you will not be allowed to ride
the trial).
Handle bar grips must not have holes in the ends. (If they do you must
replace them. If this can not be done you will not be allowed to ride the
trial).
Additional checks performed by scrutineer
Throttle snaps back to the stop.
All spokes are tight.
No sharp objects on bike.
No protruding objects on bike.
Chain is correct tension.
Correct number & size.(black numbers 100mm high on a white backing.
Tyres comply to white book regulations.
